Episode 43: Infertility with Dr. Natasha Stamper

Dr. Stamper is a clinical pharmacist and online fertility coach. She found her love for all things fertility while living in a remote Alaska village navigating her own IVF journey alone. After many miscarriages, two ectopic pregnancies and one cervical ectopic she had her two miracle babies. Now with over 12 years of clinical pharmacy experience and her own personal experience she is so excited to be helping families fulfill the dream of making their family complete.
Oftentimes patients who are diagnosed with cancer may have to decide rather quickly what to do prior to surgical treatment that would require a complete hysterectomy or treatment that could potentially induce hormone changes and trouble getting pregnant later. It is important that anyone who is still wanting to have children discuss this topic with their doctor and then seek out an infertility specialist to discuss these options before treatment begins. There can also be fertility issues after cancer treatment so it is important to know what is available to help women to successfully get pregnant.
